Summary Report: 

The National Museum in Baghdad, Iraq, displays a device consisting of a terra-cotta vase, eighteen centimters high, with a bronce and metalic inlay construction. Acid was found on the bottom of the vase. Ingenieurs could proof that this was a primitive battery with the calvanic principle.
