Summary Report: 

At the Yangshan Quarry (Yanmen Shan mountain) near Nanjing, China there are the largest yet known man made megaliths on planet earth. History tells us that these megaliths were carved out of the bedrock in the 15th century during the time of the Yongle dynasty. The three parts should be moved and put together as a memorial stele. This project was abandoned for the megaliths being too heavy to move. The measurements of the three parts are: Stele Base 30,35 m long, 13 m thick, 16 m tall, 16.250 t weight! ( for comparison megalith Baalbek, Lebanon: 1.650 t weight)
Stele Body 49,4 m long, 10,7 m wide, 4,4 m thick, 8.788 t weight
Stele Head 10,7 m tall, 20,3 m wide, 8,4 m thick, 6.118 t weight.
This memorial stele would have been 73 m tall.
Did they really carved the stones, all three of them, and then they realized they could not move them? Or did these massive stones have some other purpose ? Interestingly there are the same “lifting knobs”on the megaliths as in Peru, Bolivia, Egypt…
