Summary Report: 

Coral Castle is an oolite limestone structure created by the Latvian-American eccentric Edward Leedskalnin (January 12, 1887 – December 7, 1951). The structure comprises numerous large stone-sculptures, each weighing several tons. The heaviest coral block weights 30 tons. The total weight of the castle is 1100 tons.

Edward Leedskalnin (January 12, 1887 – December 7, 1951) built this megalithic park or castle on his own. He even moved the whole construction from it’s original place in Florida City to Homestead, Florida. Nobody ever saw him building it, the truck drivers had to leave for one night and on the other day, the blocks were placed on the trucks. He also worked mostly over night with a simple tripod on which a mysterious small box was fixed on top.

Coral Castle is noted for legends surrounding its creation that claim it was built single-handedly by Leedskalnin using reverse magnetism or supernatural abilities to move and carve the stones. Edward Leedskalnin even claimed to know the construction solutions of the ancient Egypts.

How was it possible for a single man to quarry, shape and even transport these massive blocks of stone? Did he realy know the secrets of the ancient pyramid builders? Sadly, Edward Leedskalnin took his secret to his grave. Some researchers claim that there might be some cryptic clues hidden in two books he wrote namely “Magnetic Current” and “A Book in every Home”.
