Summary Report:

In the Nazca desert, between the town of Nazca and Palpa this stunning mandala called “Estrella de Palpa” appeared with a suggested creation date between 800BC and 600BC, but if this is true remains uncertain. The whole area is covered with geoglyphs as described in the real x-file ID504 at RAMAR.

The Sun-Star and Cross of Peru is well documented at world-mysteries.com (see in the links provided). Gilbert de Jong did measure the sun-star and cross formation in Peru which measures 180 feet in diameter. The huge circle inside of a square reminded him of a zodiac map, supported by the fact, that a nearby snake like creature exists, positioned at one point where de Jong expected to find the symbol for “Aries.” Also does Gilbert de Jong associate the mandala with the pottering and clothing findings of Helaine Silverman, especially with the mythical flying being through the sky, which he believes could represent the crossing of the Venus-loops. World-mysteries.com suggests that the creators of the Sun-Star and cross mandala used Sumerian Feet as the basic units of measure.

If Gilbert de Jong solved the “Estrella de Palpa” case remains a mystery. A further mystery seems the similarity between the “Estrella de Palpa” and the crop circle that occured in England, Wiltshire, 30.07.2000, Blackland (Morgans Hill). The crop circle has undisputable similarity with the old geoglyph.
