Summary Report: 

Argentina, on the 21st of May 1962 in the city of Bahia Blanca south of Buenos Aires a UFO mass sighting occured. Many people observed a strange luminous body suspended for several minutes over the city, and then saw it disappear quickly. A local photographer was able to take two pictures of the object, which looks lika a luminous oval on the print.

In the year 1962 many UFO sightings have been observed in entire Argentina, most of them in Bahia Blanca.

This case has been anounced in the news paper “NUEVA PROVINCIA” on May 22 1962 in Argentina. The Cordoba Astronomical observatory has asked the public to submit theirs observations in order to determine wether the phenomenon was a cluster of meteorites, part of an artificial satellite, or due to other causes. This case is one of the reported cases of the CIA UFO documents which were declassified in January 2020 and have been published by John Greenewald Jr on his website theblackvault.com, who recieved all 2700 declassified pages in a PDF on CD from the CIA.
