Summary Report:
Mirin Dajo (real name Arnold Henskes) meaning astonishing wonder in Esperanto language or one who brings peace in Slavic language. Arnold Henskes was a peculiar Dutch artist who lived between 1912 – 1948. Beginning of June 1947 he demonstrated repeatingly in the Corso-Theater Zurich Switzerland his paranormal abilities through invulnerability.
An assistant pierced several pointed objects through his corpus, even hollow tubes where water has been passed through to prove its realness. During these demonstrations Mirin Dajo remained conscious and invulnerable, after pulling the poles out of his body not even blood spilled out. Mirindajo demonstrated his abilities multiple times until his show has been prohibited from the police director of Zurich. His invulnerability has also been verified in September 1947 at the hospital in Basel Switzerland under clinical observation. Later on a medical analysis stated that the phenomenon can be explained easily, because the used poles werent enough sharp and pointed, the organs were able to escape the lance, hence it wasnt critical to life at all. This medical statement was extremely dismissive and wrong, as Mirin Dajo also proved his invulnerability as he survived getting stabbed with a 2.5cm and 5mm thick blade from a sword in October 1947 in Bern Switzerland. Professor Massini from the Basel hospital stated “Upon existing scars Mirin Dajos heart has been pierced several times. There is no explanation for how this man did survice these actions. Also no infections occured ever nor did blood spill out the wound or remained on the poles which havent been desinfected at all and previously touched by the witnesses”.
Beside his miraculous abilities Mirin Dajo was preaching for peace on earth. He has survived beeing stabbed over 500 times in his short life. It remains a great mystery how he was able to survive this piercings without any expressions of pain.
