The pyramides of Güimar are another strange place located on the isle of Tenerife in Spain. The pyramids are so called step-pyramids and archaeologists presume that they were built by the mysterious culture of the “Guanches”. They bear a great similarity to step-pyramids on other canary-islands and even other countries around the globe. These pyramids are aligned to certain astronomical phenomenons. They are roughly dated to around 3000 b.C. Also, strange artifacts have been discovered under and around the pyramids of Güimar like strange stone-spheres and figurines. Also, many petroglyphs have been discovered on the canary islands.
