Summary Report:

On November 2, 1959, professor Joaquim Guedes do Amaral, director of Évoras Commercial and Industrial School, was informed of the presence of a strange object hovering in the citys skies. Using the magnification of a telescope, the teacher observed in more detail a lenticular-shaped object that would later be accompanied by a second object whose shape and movement patterns did not correspond to any common or known object.

That same day, several sources reported white filaments of unusual texture falling over the city, witnessed even hundreds of kilometers away by pilot Conceição e Silva (later Chief of Staff of the Air Force) who was preparing to rehearse a flight from the Sintra air base. Microscopic analyses of these filaments by Professor Amaral revealed a strange living being, classified as “unknown” by all the biologists who analyzed it. Ufologists call this filament “Angelhair” and it has been witnessed with other possible UFO-cases around the world.

Was this UFO in truth an intergalactic object scattering the seeds of life throughout the universe as the Panspermia Theory suggests? Could it be that the organisms found in the angel hair filament are prototypes for all life in the universe?
