Summary Report:

On January 5, 1945, the sixty-seven-year-old seer Edgar Cayce (1877-1945) died in Virginia Beach, USA. In a state of trance, “the sleeping prophet,” as he was called, healed countless people, even though he did not know a single medical book. He is the “father of holistic medicine,” and the most documented psychic of the 20th century. In his approx. two thousand five hundred readings, he gave astounding information about the past and the future, but also about his own repeated multiple rebirths from ancient Egypt to the present. Many books have been written about Edgar Cayce, and his worldwide following is in the millions.

Edgar Cayce, a simple farm boy from Kentucky, had no idea of the fantastic abilities that were hidden in his head. Although he died on January 5, 1945, medical doctors and psychologists are still busy evaluating his files. The strict American Medical Association gave Edgar Cayce the Permission to hold consultations even though he was not a doctor.

One of countless mysteries is e.g the case in where later on Edgar “prescribes” a drug and gives the address of a laboratory in a distant town. On a call, they are told that the drug has just been developed, the formula has been just created, a name is being sought, but it is not yet on the market.

Many critics have been made, that his cases, readings and healings were not proven at all or underlying a placebo effect. But the fact that sick people from the whole world did seek out after him for healings and consultations and that he indeed healed tousands of people and also many VIPs wanted to work together with him for research purposes in scientific fields as Arthur Lammers in metaphysics or Morton Blumenthal makes his case very mysterious.
